Concurrently, this understanding renders biology amenable to engineering approaches – how can scientists control, predict and thus design novel ways to circumvent disease? We develop protein therapeutics to address unmet medical needs in infectious diseases. These proteins aim to directly interfere in disease progression or augment essential immune system activities.
